20.01.2022 How beautiful is this? One South Australian teenager has had a taste of what its like to be part of the Australian Ballet, after a special surprise over the... weekend 15-year-old Lauren was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia 4 years ago, but it didnt stop her love of ballet. She told ABCs Sonya Feldhoff she was delighted to have a lesson with Australian Ballets Companys principal artist Amber Scott via a special Zoom session. It was really exciting I loved it so much, its just my passion. When I was having treatment I still tried to get to ballet as much as I could to try and take my mind of things. It definitely has made a dream come true. : Make-A-Wish Australia - Adelaide Branch

08.01.2022 It is with deep sadness and immense gratitude that Dance Hub SA acknowledges the life and legacy of Dr Alan Brissenden AM, who died this week on September 9th, ...2020. A contribution to culture, beyond measure - his work and impact as an academic, researcher, writer and critic, has documented the history of Dance and contemporary arts practice in South Australia to this point in time. His passion for Dance has championed the art form both in this State and internationally. May the knowledge and conversations about Dance, that we are now custodians of, continue to enrich our lives. Alan - The foyers will never be the same without your presence, wit and smile, yet your memory will continue to dance on. [Text by Amanda Phillips. Image courtesy of The Adelaide Critics Circle]
