I get it... it’s 530 #sunday arvo, it’s a beautiful temp in Brisbane, so people are out and about... and I know the scooter kid sledges are over done but geeeezzuussssss... 5 yr olds on 3 wheel scooter things, a horde of 12 yr olds, not paying attention to people’s lines... old dude in fruit boots not looking where he is going... a few roller skaters doing fkn dance shit on the flat... am I just getting old and grumpy?!? Skate park used to have a pecking order... when I was a grom, you waited to be allowed to ride the ramp, you certainly didn’t get in the way, or you heard all about it... #rant

Its been a long seven months of no events, and its time to hit the parks for more skateboarding mayhem. From November 15 to December 15 we will be running King Of Covid 6 Trick Video Competition at Chelsea Skatepark supported by Victorian Youth Week, @kingstoncouncil, @fringe_skateboards and @theevetrucks. Here is how it works: 1. Register FREE at www.Shredability.com.au/registration 2. Film your best Six Tricks at Chelsea Skatepark, on any obstacle. Can be in lines, or tricks. 3. Post it to instagram in one clip, tagging @shredability_skateboarding, @king_of_concrete and #kingofcovidchelsea. Also add your age group to the post. Don’t forget to tag your filmer (good dudes also split their prize money with them!) Enter as many times as you like. We have top three prizes for the best skating for the age groups of: Open Men’s Open Women’s 15 and Under Boys 15 and Under Girls 12 and Under We also have $500 for the best clip, which can come from any group. For the cash we are also looking at the filming, the editing, the creativity and the skating. The best skating doesn’t necessarily win automatically.
