22.01.2022 When choosing a celebrant it is SO important to make sure that they are going to fit into YOUR day. I myself always like to call, meet up or during this pandemic Zoom the couple first before they book in, discuss what they are planning, what kind of ceremony, the feeling they are after (relaxed, formal, funny etc) how they met, will you want a celebrant who can make the guests laugh? an entertainer maybe or a quite and calm personality. The most part of a being a celebrant is... in the lead up to the day, you need to make sure you are happy with how they 'work'. Are they process driven, fast responding or maybe laid back? I encourage you to ask questions when looking for a celebrant, not just the fee as most celebrant’s fees depend on things like the location, date, time of day and what type of ceremony you’re after. I hope this helps your wedding planning journey.
