09.01.2022 On Saturday, Redfern Fire Station acknowledged that our deepest respect for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander culture is infused into everything that we undertake as part of our commemorations. We hope Australians from all backgrounds come together and celebrate the success & optimism of our modern + multicultural society & the strength + resilience of our first peoples. Redfern Fire Station had the pleasure of spending their morning mingling at the Yabun Festival @ Victori...a Park. We hope you have a fun safe long weekend celebrating Australia! 01.01.2022 On April 1st 2019, Thirty Two Firefighters from Fire and Rescue NSW and also ACT Fire & Rescue will be ditching their turnout gear and sliding into lycra for the annual 400in4 Charity Ride. The Firefighters will be making the uphill trek from Huskisson to the summit of Mt Kosciuszko over four gruelling days to raise valuable funds for a cause close to every firefighters heart, the Kids Burns Unit at The Children's Hospital at Westmead.
