20.01.2022 The start of a busy 27th December day for Terrigal Firefighters. This motor vehicle accident was the first of 5 Callout’s for the day. Crews worked to stabilise the utility and completed a roof removal to allow access to the patient. 17.01.2022 Terrigal Fire Fighters were recently awarded a variety of conduct and service medals. Firefighter Jun for passing phase training. Firefighters Rhys and Will were issued their 5 year service and single stripe. Firefighter Ian received his 10 year long service and good conduct medal and 2 stripes. Firefighter Jimmy was issued with the National Service Medal and 3 stripes.... Hands were sanitised before and after any presentation as per covid guidelines.

15.01.2022 Ocean view drive Wamberal currently closed due to power lines arcing. Please avoid the area Update: 8.30pm, incident now handed over to Police and Energy Australia. It is estimated that Ocean View Dr should be reopened by 10pm and power will be restored to the local area.

13.01.2022 459 Crew Training Drill this week was a practical HAZMAT exercise using the Altair 5x gas detector. The crew ran through 4 different scenarios to hone their skills in using this equipment.

13.01.2022 6.14 pm Terrigal crew were called to a building fire at Wamberal, along with 304 station, Wamberal RFS, police and Ambulance. Fortunately the fire was contained to the air conditioning unit and ducting.

10.01.2022 This weeks training at Terrigal Fire Station was on using our rescue equipment. Firefighters were also tasked with moving an egg with the combi tool (jaws of life) to help improve fine operation of this piece of equipment.
