25.01.2022 Omg! I have been hanging onto these gorgeous old awnings for a lil bit waiting to use them somehow. Finally .... They were cut up and joined together to put on my studio (marahuyo studio) I love them so much!!!

07.01.2022 Hey guys - some of you know what’s happening in my little corner of the world - this year has been one of the worst in many ways, besides covid, we found out the father of my young boys - John has Alzheimer’s so besides becoming his carer, closing his business and taking over every aspect of managing our lives, I have tried to keep things as normal as possible for our boys and keep my hands in clay whenever possible. My life has been incredibly busy and I’m starting to see s...ome light at the end of this really long tunnel. I don’t really share more then I need to but I thought I may need to give some background as to my next line of thoughts - as Johns carer I won’t be going far from home and markets won’t be something I’ll be continuing next year. In fact December 13th at the Mt Tamborine Showground will be my last one. So ... I’m wondering if I start small workshops here at home would any one be interested? Groups would be 2-3 to start with. I’ve never taught anyone anything in my life. I’m shy & sometimes my words come out in jumbled sentences. However I know I have to start somewhere I’m also self taught besides a beginning to clay from my friend Lindy and a workshop or 2 at shed 35. It’s been trial and error. Oh I should say it will be handbuilding. Each workshop will be themed. And each one will be held for 2 days over 2 weeks. Each session 2-4 hours. To allow for creating in the first one. Then allow drying and firing. Then the second lesson will be glazing your own creations which I will then Fire ready for pick up At this stage I’m just asking for a show of interest to see if this idea is a viable one Studio is located in Logan Village See more
