25.01.2022 I posted this on my personal page last month and had many requests from people wanting to share it to create awareness, which obviously I am happy for. Posting here to extend creating awareness... A particularly blessed Father’s Day this year and hopefully for someone, my sharing today, the last day of Stroke Awareness Week, may be valuable. While we had in the energies the poignant fact that this was our first Father’s day since Dad passed in May, the day was also one of i...Continue reading

22.01.2022 I left some sunflower seeds that I had soaked, draining over night, and the next morning I was reminded of the saying 'it's not the food in your life, it's the life in your food'. It's amazing to think that a seemingly dead, inert seed can actually possess so much life to be able to germinate and produce evidence of a flow of energy or life force via huge sprouts like this. It is little things like this that keep me in awe of the natural world and how much healthier and happier we can be when we stay conscious and work WITH it rather than trying to manipulate it thinking that we know better...

16.01.2022 As promised in the last post - from the Live Alive archives February 2016: Nearly every day I see examples of just how destructive our current day ‘nutrition wars’ are on our physical, emotional and mental health. People frozen in confusion and fear in supermarket aisles, farmers markets and their own kitchens as to the ‘right’ food to buy and cook has become a very real thing. It is completely absurd and completely understandable....Continue reading

13.01.2022 Some of the most common questions I get asked in consultations are in regard to making good food choices. Now, as with most topics about food, there are numerous opinions around what is a 'good' food choice... While I am quite vocal about mine (see previous few posts) my emphasis is always around quality, freshness, seasonality, sustainability and minimal food miles. Of course budget and availability are major considerations. We need to know more about our food and how it ...was produced which means having a conversation with the producer. This is easier to do at a farmers markets and nearly impossible at a supermarket - understand what I'm saying? Admittedly not everyone can get to a farmer's market so just try to stay conscious of what you are buying and how it may have been produced. The ingredient list (if it has one) and country of origin can be helpful information. In the comments is a handout I share in consultations. It's not comprehensive, just a brief type of cliff notes. You may find it helpful. What I share on this page are my views (unless stated otherwise) based on my research, my experience and my beliefs. The posts are only provided as food for thought

12.01.2022 Oh I can’t be happier about this award both that it actually exists and who it has been awarded to. That such an award actually exists is encouragement to those of us who for many decades have educated on the health benefits and absolute necessity of producing our food in a regenerative way - predominantly health benefits to the planet which in turn naturally provide health benefits to all living beings ie humans and animals. Regenerative farming is the gold standard method ...Continue reading

12.01.2022 Yep - that’s me! Even going a few days without meat has my vital force start to drain out of me and I feel sub par at every level. If I was in any doubt it was made very evident to me a few years ago. I attended a retreat in Tasmania. For some strange reason almost every type of retreat that has a health or spiritual theme serves only vegetarian or vegan food so, for the 5 days I was there I ate no meat. I did eat dairy food from the little that was available. The fo...Continue reading
