06.01.2022 A Very BIG Thank you to the Cascades Female Factory Historic Site and @LiveHistory for the special performance of Her Story. With a great audience of 23 people we raised $600!

06.01.2022 Sunday May 5th From the Shadows had a display at the Female Convicts Research Centre Seminar. Thanks to all who made donations to our Statues project.

04.01.2022 We are over the moon to announce that the statues have successfully made the journey from Dublin, across the big blue ocean to arrive safely in Tasmania!!! Much like the original convict women and their children, it was a long and somewhat periled journey. 04.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Colonial Dance on Saturday Night. It was a fantastic night of music and dancing hosted by the Superintendant our own Rob Valentine and The Matron Lorraine Davidson. Special thanks to the @Tasmanian Heritage Fiddle Ensemble and @David.Wanless1 for keeping it lively. We raised over $2,800!! Bringing us ever closer to our goal.

Remember you don't need a dance partner because most of the dances will be community dances taught on the night. However there will also be an opportunity to dance a couple of waltzes.
