23.01.2022 Brahman Granite Bullnose by Austral Bricks for the planter boxes at the Mater Hospital Townsville. They really have a WOW factor. The last of the BRICKWORK for stage 1. ... The building looks amazing and has been designed with the latest state of the art technology and architecture.

19.01.2022 The FFCA crew have been busy at Ergon Energy in Townsville. Limestone Austral masonry blocks with a grey banding. Feature grey mortar to compliment the half heights. Another wonderful project from A.Gabrielli Constructions always a pleasure to work with such organised companies.... Well done boys. A bit to go yet but will look stunning when completed.

09.01.2022 FFCA are proud to have been and continuing to be a major works contractor on this project. CPB have done an amazing job fullfilling and completing such a difficult project all whilst keeping the hospital fully operational.

08.01.2022 Another amazing project underway FFCA are proud to team up for the masonry once again with A.Gabrielli Constructions for the Kirwan Early Learning Centre. Ground floor complete.... Some really great walls. 70mtrs long.. Zero boundary. First floor to come once scaffold is complete.

Some of these walls go maximum height, a whopping 6mtrs. Always a pleasure to work with well organised and structured building companies.

04.01.2022 Roof, fascia and gutter is on. External paint has been applied. Scaffold has come down. Roller doors and windows next week... BIG SHED great price. Fancy a masonry shed? 03.01.2022 From slabs to blockwork and back to slabs again. It's what we do. Although these are planter boxes and dock levelers, they have come up a treat and will now be ready for the brick skin on outside layer of planters, and the hydraulic dock leveler on slabs. 02.01.2022 FULL stripout and deconstruction of the stage 2 Mater Hospital Level 3 surgical ward. Complete. 10 days and quite a transition.... FFCA are extremely happy with the result and are proud of our team for doing such a clean, tidy and excellent job. Well done guys.

02.01.2022 With our market over the past few years to a decade, severely being compromised by a chronic downturn in building and housing approvals, it's times like these when people rely on builders and contractors that they trust..... However, unfortunately some builders seem to fall for the carrot dangling and false promises made by desperate sub contractors, who severely underprice work just to land a contrac twithout any thought, respect or regard for our industry and trade. We ha...ve lately been building a shed for a client that we built their house over 10years ago. Yes it's a decent shed and will certainly fit all the things they wish to store in it. However as we are the builders, they knew that the price would be fair and workmanship would not be compromised due to underpricing. This meant that the client could trust all the advice we give them and still giving them along the way to ensure that they maximise the space and size of the shed to its full potential. We first started with strip footings, totally cage design with welded ligs BLOCKWORK base with internal beams. 125mm 25mpa concrete slab with sl82 mesh 200 series external blockwork with lig held backing piers. ( similar to engaged minus the cage) Once we finish the scaffold erection. We can continue the structural part of the build with then the finishing trades will work their magic. We are a stress free no hidden secrets building company that prides itself in delivering quality builds each and every time. 01.01.2022 Started the veneer at Heatly High School and got a great start to the week. Great effort by the FFCA team with a well kept and presented work site. Always a pleasure working alongside Hutchinson Builders and thier team of great local contractors.... The #pghbrick have been quite a pleasure to lay and really do look great with a crisp, sharp appearance which assists us with cleaning and finishing. Some new and exciting projects are about to start very shortly and really look forward to getting stuck into them also.
