23.01.2022 a favourite - first piece made using colour outside my comfort zone, I love hearing people’s perspectives of works, this one has gotten open scabs, lava, cuts in the earth. For me it’s bleeding water, a physical of our destruction of the reef. Framing this one this weekend and am excited to see it again

16.01.2022 this is copper and dirt I just went home to Townsville, where it all began and where my colours come from, as I was flying out I noticed the coral sea had streamlines of brown liquid through it, I didn’t know if it was sand or pollution, but it looked like oil. And I painted this the day after I got back. I don’t mind what you see, how you perceive the art, but the basis has always been about the environment we live in and the earth we are polluting. I want to show the beauty our land holds but also, how disgusting it can be when it is not taken care of. More to come, always, it was nice visiting home

It’s such an enjoyable experience creating specific pallets for peoples homes, discussing art, ideas, flows and differences continues to give me that soul searching high never stop talking colours please . . This piece and beginning of a new era of paintings also reminds me of the blue lagoon, a movie I watched with mum when I was young, based on young love and attraction and the gorgeousness of water in all of its power. 14.01.2022 Inspired by the Australian bushfires that took hold over 2019-2020. This is ‘black summer’. Commission for my sister, using charcoal from lithgow, copper and sap green acrylic and gold. Symbolizing the mining town of lithgow, and all it has been through. The mountain behind my sisters house burnt, up to her window, the shed burnt down, two houses up burnt down, the whole town burnt down. New foliage gives us all hope, as the trees grow back, and just outside the window, the e...ucalyptus springs out of the black trunks. . . I created this piece using an aerial view of McKellars park, and the roads my sister lives on. I then imagine the waterways that once might have been, before we invaded and follow that thought through to the images I see today, while walking through the Bush and up the mountain. Some parts of the bush are untouched and prehistoric. That’s all I’ll ever try and capture. See more

07.01.2022 New piece ‘red waterways’. I think I’ve finally realized how much painting means to me as I whip up a piece and feel instantly ‘better’. A lot is going on and coming right now, I’m making a blog for my mum, called Nurse Juanita @nursejuanitaa which will show the world how amazing she and most nurses are at their jobs, how they are pinned against a health care system that neglects it’s workers, leaving them on casual contracts, with too many patients and not enough support. 06.01.2022 A fresh new look and welcome to frost art co. from the start, I have painted to draw attention to the ever growing pollution and coral bleaching of the Great Barrier Reef. I started in 2016, when 97% of the reef was declared dead due to the mass coral bleaching incident of that year. This has now become my manifested mission, to create art for health, inspire others and enjoy the beautiful things we have, cherishing them and working towards a more sustainable future.
