24.01.2022 Had the pleasure of helping a client this week by supplying her with one of our custom made Night Guards. Having been informed by her dentist that her dentition was suffering attrition through the nocturnal act of bruxism, otherwise known as teeth grinding. In order to save her further expensive dental costs down the road we constructed her a 3mm thick soft/hard guard for wearing while she sleeps. The soft inner layer provides comfort whilst the hard outer layer will prevent her teeth from further wear for hopefully many years to come. 21.01.2022 Made this Silensor-sl dental appliance today for a customer. Utilising a design that involves two hinged splints this appliance holds the lower jaw in a slightly forward position and prevents it dropping backwards during sleep and obstructing airflow which contributes to snoring. The device is comfortable to wear yet durable thanks to the dual laminate material with a soft inner lining and a hard outer layer. If you find your sleep is unsettled due to snoring and restricted airflow then you may benefit from using one of these appliances.
