20.01.2022 West Ends Milk Factory, a Brisbane hotspot for live music, gets its name from Pauls Parmalat factory that occupied the space across the road for some 50 years. Located in the place of one of Brisbanes oldest standing buildings, previously the Coronation Hotel, Milk Factory is just one of many places adapting heritage-listed buildings in Brisbane into urban hangouts. Its floating menu features ever changing global cuisine allowing diners to experience world dining, one journey at a time. Decorated with art and vintage maritime relics to give diners full experience of this journey. 15.01.2022 Born in Sydney and raised on the Gold Coast, singer-songwriter, Hannah McLeod is now based in Brisbane studying Songwriting at JMC Academy. Influenced by such artists as Bob Dylan and The Waifs, McLeod's style of writing utilises smooth, eclectic sounds, derivative of folk and blues. While Hannah is currently spending her free time playing in coffee houses and on market stages, she has recently performed at NightQuarter, The Triffid, and opened for Kate Ceberano and Olly Frie...nd. We can't wait to see her grace the stage at the Milk Factory on May 24! She'll be first up, so be ready at the door at 8pm to catch this angelic young artist. 01.01.2022 Jamie Hogg is a 21-year-old, singer-songwriter based in Brisbane. Hes spent the last few years building up a solid repertoire of songs about the world, himself and others; combining uplifting lyrics with soulful music to create his songs. His music is influenced by acts such as John Mayer, the John Butler Trio, & Ed Sheeran. However, his songs are unquestionably unique, blending a multitude of genres to create his own signature style. He loves to perform and always has fun p...laying any time, any place, with numerous performances under his belt. Hes currently studying a Bachelor of Music at QUT, and released his debut EP titled People Who Barely Know You" in March.
