25.01.2022 ~ MULBERRY PORT ~ The mulberries this year have been plump, juicy and plentiful. Fermentation is underway, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the port turns out!

24.01.2022 This long weekend we are open 11am - 2pm on Saturday, Sunday & Monday! Unfortunately we cannot do tastings yet, but we’d be happy to recommend something - the Blueberry Bliss and award-winning Cherry Port are lovely wintery ports to enjoy at home. I also had a nice surprise in the mail a couple of months ago, with the Wicked Apricot receiving Best Fortified Fruit Wine to go alongside its Silver Medal from the Australian Fruit Wine Show. Hoping you will be able to taste it soon!

For safety of staff and other patrons, we ask that you check-in with the Safe WA app and remain seated for tastings If you are required to wear a mask (having left Perth and Peel since the 17 April 2021), you can remove it for tastings! Also on this weekend is the Festival of Country Gardens - take a look at some beautiful autumn gardens! ~ SWEET STRAWBERRY ~ Sweet Strawberry returns to the cellar door - only 43 hand-numbered bottles in this micro-batch. This tasty fortified is made from locally grown strawberries. It has a candy sweetness on the palate and an amazing strawberry aroma.

07.01.2022 ~ Thank you for helping me past 500 page likes! ~ As you might already know, Balingup Fruit Winery is mostly a one-person operation. Everything from picking or sourcing local fruit, to winemaking, bottling, bookwork, marketing and tastings at the cellar door. It certainly keeps me busy, but I enjoy it! There are several people who help me out at shows, picking fruit or taste-testing, and their assistance is greatly appreciated!... Thanks for following along and spreading the word, and I will have some enticing new fruit ports for you to try this year
