It then doesn’t disappear, but breaks down into micro plastics which then leak toxins back into the environment. Next time you reach for the plastic bags to put your fruit and veggies in...remember this fact and look for alternatives. ... I wanted an alternative to the insidious little plastic bag something that was about the same size, lightweight and see through, something that was washable and durable so that it could be reused for many years.
