24.01.2022 Happy May Day! This year the May Day March and Family Days will be on Saturday 4 May in SA and Monday 6 May in the NT. ACTU President Michele O'Neil will be the keynote speaker at both, along with Senator Doug Cameron in NT. ... May Day recognises the achievements of working people and acknowledges the significance of the eight-hour working day. Both May Day marches will commence at 10am, with Unions and community groups walking side by side, celebrating solidarity. Following the march there will be food, drinks and family entertainment so that we can celebrate all that we enjoy about spending time with friends and families.
