15.01.2022 I'm going to be real with you fam, today was not a good day for me. I'm nearly 30 weeks pregnant, and today my mental health was taking a major hit. Could be because my hormones are going crazy and the third trimester fatigue is certainly trying me, or it could be because of the damn landscaper not turning up again delaying our backyard being turfed which has been happening for 3 weeks. I just felt like total poo. I went to the shops to grab a body pillow to sleep with and I ...nearly cried in the middle of the mall. I felt alone all day, even when talking to multiple people, and there was a definite procrastination-guilt-cycle on repeat all day. I am totally aware that my self-talk was absolutely atrocious today, and I would get into a negative thought cycle ruminating and mind-reading until I felt like I couldn't move. The thing is, I knew what was happening, and I couldn't get myself out of it today. It may take another day of positive self talk (which I was trying) to kick in and take effect so that I can actually function again. These days happen, and I'm grateful they are a lot less frequent than they used to be. But today was a reminder that I have a condition which can make it very difficult to do even the most basic life tasks let alone all the lofty business and baby goals I have. So Im implementing a habit (it will take 66 days to take hold according to science) to boost myself up. Ill tell you how I go!
