I bet she never thought she'd be able to do all the things she just did in the class this morning when she first started, well done Caren! 16.01.2022 Don't treat it as a diet, a diet implies an end date and something you "have" to do. Make it a lifestyle change by progressively changing how you view food and what choices you make in regards to your meals. Change one meal at a time. Change hot chips at dinner to a baked potato and try add more veggies to your plate. By slowly introducing those small changes you will instead be making lasting changes that you will stick with and be able to enjoy a healthier way of eating and looking at food.

15.01.2022 These lovely ladies completed a 30 minutes AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) this morning. A mix of full body strength stations with a running component between each station. Great work everyone
15.01.2022 So what do our classes involve? Timed intervals, so everyone works and rests together. No one gets left behind! Mixture of upper body, lower body and core strength and cardio. Class runs for 40-45 minutes total including warm up and cool down. We cater to all ages, fitness levels and experience. ... Most of all we are inclusive and have fun! 14.01.2022 Due to further delays in opening my other business I have opened up my books for more PT sessions between 9am-2pm Monday-Thursday as well as 9am-5:30pm Friday and 7am-12pm Saturday. So if you were wanting an after school drop off time slot jump on and book your appointment with the "book now" button on the home page.

10.01.2022 As a trainer and just as a girl who lifts I can't count the number of times clients or friends have said to me when talking about the gym, "I just don't want to get too bulky". First of all I know what they are picturing when they say that statements and trust me ladies, that shit isn't going to happen overnight or by accident. That kind of muscle development takes years upon years of constant and consistent weight training. As well as a diet to support it and trust me 99% o...f us are not eating like they do. What lifting weights (and no not those 1kg dumbbells) WILL do for you is improve your overall body composition. Because when you build lean muscle everything draws in, feels tighter, less "wobbly bits". It supports strong and healthy bones, which is particularly important for us women as we age. It will improve your resting metabolic rate. Quite simply you'll burn more calories even when doing nothing. This is because your body requires more energy to maintain higher muscle mass. That is why they big body builders eat so much. Then the biggest thing that I think is quite commonly overlooked is simply the mental side of feeling stronger. You feel more confident in yourself even just in life in general. So ladies, please don't feel like you can't lift, if you don't know where to start, then ask for help! Whether it's from a trainer, a friend who loves their fitness, whoever!
