23.01.2022 Did you know fungus is actually a little bug that you cant see? NOPE you cant see it whatsoever! That little bug will live in places like inside your shoes, inside your sock. It can live in your shower. It can also live in your nail file!!! Thats why lots of people get it at places like nail salon.... So, what can you do? Got to try and steer clear of those places! Make sure you only use clean socks, clean shoes. Make sure you clean your shower. NEVER USE A NAIL FILE THAT HAS BEEN USED ON SOMEONE ELSE without it being properly autoclaved or steam sterilized and autoclaved at pressure to get rid of that. Autoclaves are very expensive and take a long time to clean the instruments. Our Autoclave has its own room and the whole process of sterilising these properly takes at least an hour! You have to scrub them, rinse them, autoclave them and then dry them! Is your salon doing that? Thats why lots of cheap nail salons dont want to Autoclave instruments. Its hard to keep things cheap if you are having to spend so much time and money! So be careful! If you do get a fungal infection in your nails we have a cure. We use Hot laser to kill the nasty bugs on the spot! It takes about an hour to complete and is really thorough. 21.01.2022 We are blessed! We have patients travel A LONG way to see us! We have been helping people for a long time now. We are one of the busiest and most established clinics in Sydney. While we are located in Western Sydney we have people travel from ALL OVER NSW to see us! So last weeks record was pretty impressive - ready - 6.5 hour drive to see us! 19.01.2022 Dont book your laser therapy appointment until youve read this! There is ALOT of misinformation out there about laser therapy for this horrible condition! Below we will reveal what others dont want you to know!... Where do most fungal spores live? Almost anywhere! Infection will live in; Your shoes Your socks Bathrooms Gym locker rooms Communal shower areas There is thoughts that Carpets may be able to carry the spores! How do fungal spores travel? Fungal infections are very contagious and very easy to contract because the spores travel so well and are not visible! They travel in socks and shoes. They are know to be in the bases of showers. There is conjecture that they may also be present in carpet! Does cold water kill fungal spores? Cold water has NO affect on Fungal Infections nothing. It will not kill the infection nor stop it from spreading. Should I use Bacterial wash to kill my fungus? There are now a number of bacterial washes and "disinfectant" washes for your clothes. They will have NO affect on a fungal infection present in socks, towels and their washing. Do antibiotics kill fungus? No! Antibiotic kill bacteria. Fungus is NOT a bacteria. Taking antibiotics will do nothing to your fungal nails! There is MUCH more to treatment than simply getting a cream or paint or having - ONE affected digit done We hope these few quick tips have given you a little more insight into this tricky problem! 10.01.2022 These are the toenails of Steve ......... and yes, we want them to look this way! Why? We have just microdrilled his toenails (Click the photo and zoom in to see the hundreds of little holes!) You see, unfortunately for Steve, he managed to contract a fungal toenail infection. He has been really frustrated as he has had it for close to 10 years and has tried everything on the market to get rid of it with nothing working. (Yes he tried oils - tea tree and other things ..........) Fortunately he found us! To help get rid of Steves fungal toenail infection we recommended medical grade laser. It has a high effectiveness but ONLY IF YOU USE IT PROPERLY! (And loads of clinics dont! ) Part of our specialised process is micro drilling! 08.01.2022 Does it work? This is Harry and Harry is a REALLY happy guy! Look above the point of the two arrows thats the old fungal infection. Below the arrows is the new clear nail growing through! This is 3 months after this patients procedure. ... Harry says he first noted the infection about 10 years ago, hed tried tea tree oil, loads of ointments and powders but he still had an infection.
