25.01.2022 What a way to finish a month-long North Queensland Road trip. An impromptu show last night at BIG4 Whitsundays Tropical Eco Resort and the most beautiful breakfast at the Fat Frog Cafe. Here's the view from my table at the open window. Well done and thank you to our chook-mobile (known as Chooky) for all the kilometres you have taken Nadia Rabiller Access Bars Facilitator Practitioner and me, bringing fun and funkiness to kids in schools, preschools and libraries all over this amazing land. One thing, the sign mentions a lot about Mr Cooks invented names for this beautiful region. How about creating a new sign showing the names of these places in all the 10's of thousands of years BEFORE Mr Cook. Its an old looking sign too. Might need updating. Love and funkiness to you all

Go Funky Chicken and Doug the Bug (who is in very fine company I might add). It's a privilege to know our fun rhyming books are playing an important part in helping our kids develop a love of reading and writing!

You can see Funky Chicken's excitement too when he discovered not only was Miss H rather 'chookish', but also a nest full of eggs! 13.01.2022 Note to self...don't park under a bridge on the M1 to escape from wild storms and then watch a movie until your battery goes flat so you require towing. The chook-mobile was not impressed. Driver and chook-mobile are all ok.
12.01.2022 Woohoo! As International threatened species day is today, I thought I'd give everyone a little peek at our latest project. 'Have you ever wondered, as I tend to do, of things you can do with Blue Whale Poo?' Here's a couple of concept sketches for my next book 'The things you can do with Blue Whale Poo! This stinky, crazy book has an environmental theme, and is planned for release just before Christmas this year. Like the blue whale, its going to be super mega AWESOME! As a pre-release special, you can get a pre-ordered signed copy delivered to you for just $AU25 including postage. Just message me for details. I think this is the funniest story yet and yes, believe it or not, whale poop is very important stuff!

My beautiful musical picture book 'The Things You Can Do With Blue Whale Poo is coming! I'm super excited about this special book, (which incidentally, I think is the funniest yet). Readers young and old will love this ridiculous rhyming story of things you can do with blue whale poo, while learning along the way about the importance of this very stinky stuff, produced by the biggest creature to have ever graced the earth!
