25.01.2022 Us girls here at fur and feathers would just like to pat our own backs because over the last week and a half we received 10 baby lambs into our care, ranging from 3 days to 3 weeks old, none of them were bottle fed yet and now we have all 10 on a bottle It’s taken us feeding them every 3 hours, 24 hours a day, inside, outside, in the bloody car, 5am wake ups, 11pm nights but WE DID IT and we are bloody proud Good Job Wendy and Hunter They are loving their babies ... Be sure to book a party with us and you can bottle feed one of the babies yourself

23.01.2022 Update 8pm - we are hoping King will make it through the night. If he does we may need help financially because his vet care is anticipated to be high. Some peo...ple have already donated for King via PayPal. Thank you so much and your donation will help with his vet care to date. We are requesting that you please hold off from donating until we have a clearer picture of what his vet needs will be. There are a few posts stating we have asked for cash donations which is not true. We will update you again tomorrow morning Update 4pm - we have named him King King is sedated, intubated and not in pain. He is receiving fluids and antibiotics. Our vet is still assessing him. Update 1pm - this poor little boy has been intubated. He has been diagnosed as having aspiration pneumonia, obstructed upper airway , dehydrated and a skin condition. He unfortunately has a uphill battle Urgent Do You Know Me This puppy was found yesterday at Trinity Point. He is in extremely poor condition with respiratory issues and may not make it. He is currently at the vets. If you are his owner or know who he belongs to please contact Charmhaven Pound 43503184.

15.01.2022 Hey friend I was just sitting here having a mid morning nap and realised I hadn’t updated or posted in a while. That’s because we have been so run off our feet with 3 bulk rescues this month, 5 new horses needing full on feeding and attention/ training and then we realised it’s the month before Christmas what the heck?!?!? We hope everyone is staying well

14.01.2022 Omg guys, we forgot to tell you, we rescued 3 new baby calf’s the other week, everyone meet Lucky in the front, and our TWINS Billy to the left (back) and Benny to the right) they were unrecognisable when we got them, covered in their own fecies and flies, no colostrum from mum, 2 weeks later and they are running, leaping, mooing and thriving with us Ever so cute, and how adorable is the video of them playing in their new home. #animalrescue #bestjob #centralcoast #amazing #job #family #love #cows #farmanimals

06.01.2022 We have another rescue this week, everyone meet poppy. Poppy was rescued from Sydney, she was kept in a HOUSEYARD. It’s how they are raised, what they are raised around and what they are taught that shapes the type of animals they are and the behaviour they produce. Fur and feathers does not agree not put up with convenience killing. There is always hope for an animals to change and see the happier side of life. There is always someone out there willi...ng to give them a second chance and show them love and patience. 02.01.2022 HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OUR AMAZING PEOPLE. 2021 Without you our little team of 4 wouldn’t be where we are today. I know we have stuffed so many people around with opening days but 2020 has seen our farm burn, flood, close due to covid. It’s been a hell of a year for us all. 2021 is hopefully going to bring us a farm full of bottle feeds from the public and laughs. ... We will be re opening in the new year. Hoping for April.
