24.01.2022 Today the 9th of November marks what would have been the 98th birthday of the Founder of Taekwon-Do, General Choi Hong Hi. On this occasion we have a chance to reflect on the direction we take as martial artists and instructors, and remember Gen. Chois hope for all of us, his students: "Wherever they are and whatever they do, I sincerely wish for them to be righteous masters of Taekwon-Do."

20.01.2022 This is a fantastic film from the early 1970s that shows Tae Kwon Dos powerful patterns. The narrator is Robert (Bob) Walson, who General Choi Hong-Hi introduc...es at the films beginning. I interviewed Walson for my revised book, A Killing Art. (I interviewed Choi for the first edition.) Walson was an American CIA officer and TKD leader who helped Choi and the pioneers organize Taekwon-Do events and publications in the 1960s and 1970s. See more

11.01.2022 Sabum Nim Catherine and Sabum Nim Nick at Taekwondowon in South Korea, while on the Tul Tour 2018, in front of an original 1959 Taekwondo encyclopaedia written by General Choi. We are holding our book--Volume 16--which includes a translation of U Nam Tul, a very rare and virtually forgotten pattern, that only appeared in the 1959 encyclopaedia. A very special moment for us.
