22.01.2022 We have been working on an interesting project replacing an older Raymarine C120W and installing a new Raymarine Axiom Pro 16. A little bit of glass and flowcoat work to fill in the old cut out, with that completed today we cut out the helm for the new Axiom.

22.01.2022 After are few long weekends on the job we completed the installation of a safety upgrade. The system consisted of 6 emergency points with 4 Lanyards and 2 E/Stop stations. The PILZ mB0 was used to monitor the area. Due to not having any spare inputs in the current PLC and not being able to communicate over network until future PLC upgrade, an intern measure to display the error code on the PILZ screen to ensure that Maintenance personal can quickly diagnose a pressed safety device.

18.01.2022 Not a bad view from my Friday office. We got to watch the sun rise and sun set while we set the record for Future Electrix highest replacement switch board. The old SB made from powder coated steel was in a bit of a state and in dire need of an upgrade. So up went a new stainless steel replacement.

17.01.2022 Time has come to pack up the mobile office, installation complete. Was an interesting 2 week with a few long days but we got there in the end.

17.01.2022 Today we had a successful day fine tuning the sludge discharge on this Veronesi-flottweg centrifuge. Loving these slow motion shots at the moment. Separation results were great

09.01.2022 On the completion of our latest project assisting a Hobart company install their new labeler, the travel home starts. Was very happy with the outcome. Everything went as planed powering up and testing conveyor and machine rotation a day earlier than expected. See you next time Hobart.

07.01.2022 Spent a little bit of time fine tuning this bar code labeler today. So good having slow motion on your phone, really helps pick up the small issues.

05.01.2022 Getting ready for a new project.

04.01.2022 Fantastic upgrade of an old data logic Barcode scanner that failed to recognise EAN barcodes. Future Electrix offered a fully installed and commissioned change over to a SICK Lector CLV620 laser scanner coupled with an Allen Bradley Micro 820 and PanelView 800 HMI. The system now offers a fully dynamic teach function to learn required production run barcode, alarm history, fault count for no bar code reads and wrong barcode reads. Production options to choose to read a bar... code, request to print bar code from the existing printer or both. In the event of a failure a signal is sent to the label machine requesting it to stop, this ensures no wrong or bad bar codes will leave the line. See more
