25.01.2022 North Wollongong’s Greenacres Disability Services has received a Future2 Make the Difference! grant of $10k towards its Kickstart Skilled n Social Program supporting young people with an intellectual disability to learn to cook. Deanne Sheridan CFP from SWA Financial Planning endorsed the grant. Last week, the team from SWA Financial Planning held a walking challenge and raised an additional $7k which will go towards building a second kitchen for the program. What a won...derful result! 22.01.2022 Future2 is delighted to be helping Leading Youth Forward - LYF who are making a positive change in the lives of WA teens. Leading Youth Forward support disadvantaged teens to participate in a year-long mentoring to build their self-esteem and social connections. Every teen at LYF is matched with a volunteer mentor for the year and together they participate in a weekend camp, 'Big Day Out' events, small group activities and have ongoing contact. 22.01.2022 Future2 is proud to present a $10,000 grant to Perth's The Type 1 Diabetes Family Centre to support young people aged 16-25 years old to take part in its 'Drive your diabetes' program providing affordable clinical care appointments and peer support. The Type 1 Diabetes Family Centre offers unique education programs, supportive connections, inspirational role models, friendly clinical care and action-packed camps and events to help people impacted by type 1 diabetes to live wi...thout limits. 20.01.2022 Future2 Foundation is thrilled to award Geelong's Hello Hurricane Foundation a $10,000 grant to support Project DELTA, a program which provides professional #mentalhealth support for at risk young people. The project aims to step-in at a critical period in young people’s development, and offer a pathway via physical activity for personal growth that will build resilience, knowledge, confidence and leadership. 19.01.2022 We are delighted to congratulate the winner of our 2020 FPA Community Service Award, Shane Hayes CFP from Family Aged Care Advocates. The award recognises Shane’s dedication to the financial planning profession and his long commitment to Future2. As part of his award, Shane will receive $2,000 to be gifted to his chosen charity, Byron Youth Service, the primary provider of youth services in Byron Shire. Hear from Shane below about his involvement with local not-for-profit organisations who run programs to support kids that really need a hand up.

14.01.2022 Huge thanks to Gold Partner, MLC Australia for supporting Future2 for the third year running. This November, the MLC team joined in the Future2 Community Cycling & Walking Challenge, by walking or cycling as far they could over the month. The team clocked 2,116KM over the month and contributed over $10,000 in personal fundraising. Click the link below to read more about how MLC is supporting Future2.

10.01.2022 FPA Tasmania Chapter Chair, Todd Kennedy CFP and FPA member Stuart Barry CFP recently presented a cheque from Future2 to Hamlet Hobart to support its work experience and training programs for young Tasmanians with intellectual or physical disabilities. The cheque presentation coincided with Hamlet’s 5th year anniversary! Our thanks to Stuart for endorsing Hamlet’s application.
