08.01.2022 With restrictions starting to ease in metro Melbourne Futures has started to reopen rooms for face to face consults. We are still heavily restricted in who we can bring in but with cases continuing to drop things are looking more promising. Yes masks are our new normal but at least we are on the road to recovery! Well done to everyone doing the right thing - keep doing it so we can open to all soon!

07.01.2022 Great News!!!!! Last night the government announced the federal budget. The most significant announcement for mental health is the number of rebatable sessions has increased from 10 to 20 per year for anyone with a Mentalh Health Care Plan. A GP review will only be required after 10 sessions. These extra 10 sessions will be available from Friday 9 October. This is something our Professional Associations have been fighting for over many years! Announcements are also planned for the extension of Telehealth as an option to face to face sessions which we will also welcome! We will keep you updated as more details are released

07.01.2022 A big welcome to our new team members: Provisional Psychologists Zarina Haans, Sharon Mittiga and Tara O’Boyle. Zarina and Tara have completed a Masters in Professional Psychology and are completing their final 6 months of their internship year. Sharon has a Masters in Educational & Developmental Psychology and is completing her PhD. Currently working through our waiting list our new team are offering appointments available immediately!
