19.01.2022 On Wednesday 29th April 2020 at 5:40pm Freshwater Creek Fire Brigade along with other Brigades across the State will be sounding their sirens four times as a mark of respect to the four Victorian Police Officers who tragically lost their lives last week. There is no reason to be concerned or alarmed should you hear one or more sirens sounding tomorrow at 5:40pm.

15.01.2022 Tomorrow's fire danger rating for Central is Extreme. If a fire starts it will move fast and quickly become uncontrollable and unpredictable. If you live in or are travelling through fire prone areas like dense bush or dry grass areas, it’s safer to move to built up cities or towns for the day. 15.01.2022 A Code Red Fire Danger Day has been declared for the Mallee and Northern Country Fire Districts of Victoria tomorrow (Thu 21 Nov, 2019). A Statewide Total Fire ...Ban has also been declared. Anyone in a high fire risk environment in the Mallee or Northern Country should move to a lower fire risk environment tonight or tomorrow morning at the latest. Houses in high fire risk environments are not designed to survive fires under Code Red conditions.
