25.01.2022 I recently tried the new PlexForte shampoo, treatment and conditioner that’s available from @lendanaus. With my chemically treated hair as a perfect candidate given my needs of some love. Plexforte Bond Repair Shot Mask is a concentrated oil-to-mask technology offering long-lasting repair. Increasing resistance to breakage, controlling frizz and protecting hair from heat, hair regains the soft feel and shine to healthy hair. I’d say the photos speak for themselves and am now able to offer this to my clients.

24.01.2022 Maintaining a shape that is easy to look after this short style gives us a bit of length through the sides yet short funky pieces through the back. A perfect solution for fine hair that tends to get lanky and lifeless when left longer.

17.01.2022 Just want my home based business to be recognized along the same guidelines as hairdressing salons in commercial settings. My two persons per space seems more ideal than entering a space with multiple times that in people, who you will have to try dodge and social distance from. Come on Dan! Make this happen!

17.01.2022 When the density of my clients previously done colour wasn’t quite up to scratch it was time to up the ante. Rita has been missing her bright blonde colour so more densely placed foils gave us the lighter brighter result she was after.

15.01.2022 This gorgeous lady resisted the temptation to do her own colour despite not having been in my chair for 5 months due to quarantine. This amount of new growth gave us an awesome opportunity to rethink the direction of her colour. Dea’s base colour and few foils used to always end up on the brassy side due to her working in a pool. We were able to start the process of achieving a much cooler mix of cleaner blondes and naturals without doing an all over colour. This was such a rewarding appointment that I may have done a little happy dance.

15.01.2022 While there’s not much hair cutting going on right now I’m still keeping busy, working on my new amazing space! Today I’m spray painting a window frame but looking forward to getting this space ready ASAP.

13.01.2022 Gabby’s hair journey has taken us to adding more foils to brighten her ends with a plan to head lighter still. During this appointment we did some baby fine feature pieces to frame the face which will still be quite forgiving when it grows out. Keeping the rest of the blonde off the scalp in a balayage foil application helps this as well.

Growing it has taken a very long time but it was well worth it. 11.01.2022 Some reshaping for the gorgeous Ana to fix up a previous haircut that wasn’t quite right. This haircut really benefitted form texturizing which really helps with the shape lasting longer. I’m really hoping that that’s the case as this second VIC lockdown means we are currently about a month overdue.

As my business does not operate from a separate dedicated space but is within my home with no separate entrance or facilities I’m going to have to wait until restrictions are further lifted to allow visitors in the home. 07.01.2022 Getting rid of the pesky duck tail that presents itself when Drew Uncle-Goldstein Dunlop’s hair gets long, we opted for a tight nape with some length still left on top with a distinct disconnection. This means he’s still neat for work but his style is also on trend.

07.01.2022 A massive restyle for this gorgeous lady. First we played around with the shape having dried it straight and then we opted to add some wavy texture.

06.01.2022 Mandy’s colour correction from a lockdown home colour was a few hours in the making but we got an amazing result. Just goes to show that sometimes you can’t trust the writing on the pack when it says ‘medium brown’. We budged the pigment that went way too deep and added a few feature highlights again to complete our new lighter base colour. Scroll for mid colour stage and before pic.

06.01.2022 Fabiola came to me with a haircut she got elsewhere that just wasn’t sitting right. Problem areas in a style often don’t present themselves until after the first wash and style so double checking my haircut on smoothed dry hair is something that helps me prevent that. The last pic is what I started with.

04.01.2022 A cropped short shape that’s easy to manage. It’s hard to see the texture in this pic, with the darkness of the hair, but it’s key for short hair to be textured right so as it sits well.
