22.01.2022 *Before anyone says anything, I did not take these. We did Shan, Kane and Paisleys maternity/family session in June in the Grampians. We were lucky enough to just get it in just before we got locked down! Unfortunately the dress Shan had ordered hadn’t arrived yet. But, it arrived and she put her husband to work with just the iPhone tonight! (On the farm where they are currently living, so all is ok with the current Stage 3 restrictions/rules). I’m so bloody impressed with these, Shan sent them through and I just did a simple little edit on them. You can definitely create your own special memories during this unknown time! Farm life most definitely has its perks at the moment.

21.01.2022 New restrictions come into place on Monday with masks being compulsory when out and about, or when someone visits your home. I’m still trying work out exactly what that means for photo sessions. But on a happier note, today I’m off to capture another beautiful newborn, so keep your eyes peeled for behind the scenes. 17.01.2022 Feeling exactly the same way as Paisley looks here. I’m absolutely devastated that I won’t be able to capture any memories for a few weeks, but it’s not forever. The sooner we all do the right thing. The sooner we can get back to some sort of normality. Sadly, photos cannot be taken in this time due to being back in stage 3, and having the mandatory mask rule brought in. NO loop holes & NO exceptions. It’s tough, I know. But sadly, we all just have to sit tight for the next ...few weeks and hope things begin to look brighter. Thank you everyone for your continued support during this crazy time, I will be posting lots of photos over the next few weeks. This week has been a tad crazy, we welcomed Dusty & Delphi to the family (who require feeding every 3 hours) Then a kangaroo decided to jump in front of my car. I’m all ok. 09.01.2022 April 2014. Before Gabrielle Powell Photography was even a thing. I used to get dragged along to basketball games here, there and everywhere to watch my brother play comp. Was lucky I had little Harlow to keep me amused, because five games of basketball a day was torture. In 2013 I got my first DSLR camera, I think mum and dad just got it for me so I could take photos of Declan.... (He’s the favourite) I used to take hundreds and hundreds of photos, probably why I very rarely take photos of sporting activities now. I think I took my camera to footy once or twice, and came home with more photos of Miss Frankie, than I did of any sport going on that day... So enjoy this little throw back, will aim to share lots more over the coming weeks. Stacey Krahe
