22.01.2022 Oh how lucky we are to live in this gorgeous coastal town...with mornings like today. Quick catch up with hours for this coming week (22/6 - 26/6). Galapagos will be closed Mon - Thurs. Then all things being equal, "normal" hours will resume from 29/6. Can I thank my kind supporters for their understanding during these past few weeks while my time has had to be directed elsewhere. And to Sam for her kind assistance to allow Galapagos to serve you.

21.01.2022 Good morning dear supporters, as we muddle through with the strange times we find ourselves in. I am delighted to announce that Tilley soaps (whom many of you have purchased and enjoyed, has released a wonderful addition to their range. An Anti-bacterial bar, with tea tree and lemongrass. 99% germ kill. It is in store now at $3.00/bar. Also this coming week I shall be away (staff training) but the lovely Sam will be in attendance most days to maintain service. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

20.01.2022 Good morning dear supporters... quick note to let you know due to finding many clients making small purchases with credit card, the fees/charges often "overtake the purchase" so regretfully I have made the decision that purchases $10.00 and under will now incur a 50c fee. I appreciate your understanding re this.

20.01.2022 Good chilly Saturday folks...just a quick note to let my lovely supporters that Galapagos Bookstore will be closed from tonight (Sat) until Thursday this week as due to a sudden and extremely sad passing of one of our staff members, in my hubby's business I will be assisting him for a wee while next week, given the current circumstances of lock downs it is the best option. My apologies for any inconvenience caused but pleased be assured I will give the best service I can around covering "all bases". Keep well and see you at week's end.

Quick note to say hours for Galapagos are still slightly "covid" that is 10.30 to 2.30 ish. each day .Generally Wed and Sun we might be closed but with the kind assistance of Sam may be available these days too. If for any reason you require assistance around these hours please call and let us know...we will accommodate you when ever and which ever way we can. Also Did you know "SPOT" is 40 this year. Yep that little yellow dog is 40 and still gets lost. To celebrate Spot's birthday we have a promotion in store If you buy one of Spot's books you can go into the draw for a very cuddly Spot toy. 02.01.2022 Good morning dear readers and crafters, on this wintery stage 3 day. Just letting you know Galapagos is still trading at present. Hours basically 10.30 - 2.00 ish but closed Wednesdays (Sun open at 11.00) and of course am happy to "click and deliver" if this suits those within Apollo Bay, Marengo and Skeins Creek. I haven't caught the mask making trend but do have for those of us who find our ears a little "bugged" by mask straps some ear protecters, as per pic. Price is $2.00 ( 3 for $5.00).
