18.01.2022 So so proud of Yvette for smashing her first time up the goat track in over a year!! Yvette is not only a mum and works as a carer but also runs a Non for profit animal rescue sanctuary called Wyld at Hearts Sanctuary. To say this women is super human with the biggest heart I've ever come across is an understatement! Day 4 of Yvettes personal 21 Day challenge and she is on fire!

15.01.2022 3 weeks back into running bootcamps and I'm absolutely loving the amazing people I am surrounded by. After a bit of a forced break over Covid one thing I have definitely learnt is how important it is being a part of a tribe or a community of people for your MENTAL health. I have seen thousands of my clients turn their mental health around just by getting uncomfortable, pushing past the anxiety (easier said than done I know ) putting themselves out there and becoming apa...rt of a community or a group of people. You don't have to do this through a gym or a bootcamp. There are so many other ways that you can connect with people, such as joining a book club, sporting team, a sewing/knitting group, gamers group or even a cat/dog lovers group i think you guys get me and the list could go on. Just become a part of a group. Maybe you aren't in the position to be in the presence of people physically, but there are heaps of online groups where I would recommend trying to get as much interaction and connection with people as much as possible. Ps. I was out of my comfort zone doing bootcamps in a completely different environment and new gym. But I've already made amazing friends and bonds with like minded people in doing so. Even my own mental health has gone back up since. So if you are struggling with your mental health right now and maybe you are already fighting the biggest battle of your life, dig a little deeper and go try that something new or become apart of that group or bootcamp and put yourself out there. @1millionstrongtsv thanks for having me! #community #connection #tribe #mentalhealth



15.01.2022 Alright its been a while since ive posted so let's nail a few of these on the head. MAJORITY of women have cellulite Carbs are not bad and are essential esp...ecially for performance. Taking unnecessary supps, pills, doing crazy diets, over exercising is not the answer to sustainable weight loss. You will be back to square 1. If you are stressed to the shit house, not sleeping and not looking after your mental health than chances are you wont be seeing results either. Work on the foundations first (aka the important shit). Cutting out Gluten is dairy is not essential to being healthy or losing weight..if it makes you FEEL better than cool do it. If we all ate the same shit, exercised the same and even slept the same...We would still all be different. So NO don't go and follow Karen's diet of 1200 calories. Your fitness and health is not a 1 size fits all. You can still have a cookie, you can still drink that glass of wine/beer and you can sure as hell have a weekend with maybe a little too much binging with the boys/girls from time to time and still be healthy. Your size and shape does not define you and it sure as hell doesnt get rated on other people's opinions or some of society's bullshit beliefs. What you see on someone else's social media or story isn't a true depiction of their life..don't be fooled. Last one. You are beautiful, you are loved, your are worthy! Be kinder to yourself and stop comparing yourself to others. Following all of these 'social media trends' and trying to keep up with Cheryl next door will deplete you long term of your happiness and create unrealistic expectations. Stay true to yourself and stick to the path that is going to make you healthy AND happy. Ps. If it wasnt for my high waisted tights I would also have a nice little tum tum/roll. It doesn't mean I'm not worthy of being a great PT or not healthy.

13.01.2022 Lizzie currently has a wrist Injury and is only 4 weeks out from competing in a comp. But thats no problem! Nothing is holding this mumma back! @fitnessmum_johnson ... Remember if you have an injury dont give up...there is always a solution or an alternative. Many of my clients have bad backs, bad knees and the list could go on. Instead of giving up completely they seek help and can still exercise and remain fit and healthy regardless.

09.01.2022 BE AWARE OF THAT YOU CAN STILL PUT ON WEIGHT EATING HEALTHY! CALORIE AWARENESS IS KEY. AT THE END OF THE DAY YOU MUST BE IN A CALORIE DEFICIT.

I struggle just to get myself ready and cant even find matching pairs of socks. ... Regardless of how busy you are, if it's important to you, you will find a way and make time for it! 02.01.2022 If you want the other areas of your life to improve..you need to improve yourself first! When your health goes to shit I guarantee you will spend more money on medical bills, get less time with your family/friends and won't be able to work to provide for essential needs. I get that exercising and eating healthy isn't that simple or easy otherwise 70% of the population wouldn't be overweight. But pick your hard! I know long term which one is going to be a lot fu#king harder.... Make yourself a priority now! And lastly if you do not want to be apart of that statistic you have to most likely do things differently to what 70% of the population is doing or you are going to be a part of that.
