04.01.2022 To all Gambellian It is sadden that our region came under barbaric attack yesterday by Murle from South Sudan. This group of Murle is well armed with military uniforms. They discriminately killed people children, women and the casualties are high as nearly as up to 150 lost and more than 80 wounded but the exact number is not yet known. No body knows the real mission of Murle terrorists and nobody yet knows who behind them but one thing which is known is that they came from ...South Sudan government control area. This is a dark day in the history of region. Gambella Community in Australia would like to extend it condolences to the victims families and to the whole community of Nuer Zone in Gambella. This the time for Ethiopian government to do more to protect the citizens from foreign mercenaries attack like this. May god bless their souls Ariat Oman Abella Chairperson
