20.01.2022 Holidays done right! Tathra oysters, saffron extract, beechy beer and the sapphire coast. Should of happened last year, didn't cause of fires. Should have happened August, didn't cause of covid lock down. As a farmer getting windows of time off farm is very hard, for longevity sake it's important to make it happen. #happyfarmer .... . . #sapphirecoast #tathraoyster #saffron See more

So if you normally get away over summer or Easter and are missing that special chutney or wine or cheese. Check it out from Sunday and enjoy the party.

17.01.2022 Check out https://viccountrymarket.com.au to support your favourite producers.

16.01.2022 I love these guys @thegoodseedkefir, I've spent many a cold Saturday morning chatting all things interesting and mad at #coburgfm with them, so be sure to tune in this weekend to the Rose Street Pantry TV Series on c31 (44 on free to air) to see Ivy and Adrian. Their business was born out of necessity. Battling their own health issues they turned to kefir - a probiotic rich fermented beverage. Theirs is such an interesting story. Don’t miss it.

16.01.2022 It's a foggy start to Beechworth this morning, but we're all here at the farmers market. Come and say hi! #beechworthfm

14.01.2022 In gorgeous Tocumwal today at the foreshore market. No internet or phone, so being cash!

07.01.2022 Pruning the olives with morale dog: 5 degrees C 2 rows down, only 20 to go Trees are looking happy

06.01.2022 They're coming up! The saffron that is, I think we've had such excellent rain over the last couple of weeks that they came up so fast they forgot to shed their little covers I better hurry up and finish that weeding.

04.01.2022 Thank you all who have made my first 3 months of full time farming so successful. I couldn't have imagined my Christmas caramel would disappear off the shelf so quickly, that I'd have such a great crowd of regulars @collingwoodchildrensfarm farmers market or that I'd have to do rushed restock @goldfieldsgreengrocer on Christmas eve, because Beechy peeps have been so supportive. Thank you! And to the great market neighbours and traders I've met @citylarder @thegoodseedkefir @mrs_nicks @chokamour , can't wait to do it again next year. Thanks @bridgeroadbrewers for the beer and @mossywillowfarm for the kohlrabi! Christmas here I come!

02.01.2022 Have you stockpiled olives in preparation for armageddon?? If not, get down to #collingwoodchildrensfarm tomorrow or #alphingtonfm on Sunday! In all seriousness, farmers markets are proceeding as normal, it's product that's has touched the least hands to get from paddock to you. However, there will be some changes, tasting still encouraged, but toothpicks are mandatory, and I'll be doing the stabbing for you, watch where you put the pips please, and no coughing over the table We will get through this... Whatever appropriate word we're using to describe it.... With common sense and calm, plus good food can only help.
