25.01.2022 ATTENTION VISITORS We have been closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and continue to observe recommendations. Our first priority is the continued safety of our clients and our employees. Public health officials advise that social distancing is the most effective strategy to prevent the spread of COVID-19. As such, our entry door and reception area will be closed at all times until further notice. If you have an appointment, please call Reception on (02) 6...342 1622 on arrival and you will be met at the door by the person with whom you have an appointment. If you do not have a mobile phone with you, please ring the bell and you will be attended to as soon as possible. If you do not have an appointment, please call Reception on (02) 6342 1622 and our receptionist will either make an appointment for you, or will see if someone is available to meet with you to discuss your query. If you are delivering documents, please slide the documents under the door for collection by our staff. You can also call Reception on (02) 6342 1622 to advise that the documents have been delivered. If the documents are too large to slide under the door, please call reception or ring the bell for service. We appreciate your support and understanding of this decision.

23.01.2022 Garden and Montgomerie are fully committed to continuing to service our loyal clients during these difficult times. Our Cowra office will continue to open 5 days a week during normal business hours and we have expanded our Canowindra service to a five days a week until the Covid -19 crisis passes. We have also resolved to take all reasonable precautions to protect the health and safety of our clients, staff and community. We continue to offer face to face consultations as ...usual but ask that you do not attend appointments at our offices unless you are able to confirm that you have no symptoms of cold or influenza and are feeling well and that you have had no known exposure to the coronavirus. We would prefer that you bring your own pen to consultations where document signing is to take place. If you prefer to maintain social distancing we are able to take instructions and consult via telephone, Skype and Zoom and we can arrange for some documents and contracts to be signed electronically. If you are unsure about your options, or would like to have a further discussion about any of our Covid-19 measures, please feel free to contact our office where our dedicated team will be happy to help you. 20.01.2022 Electronic signing of Wills has been passed by the NSW Government. This will make creating or updating a Will easier for people in self isolation and essential service workers. Please contact our office on (02) 6342 1622 if you would like to create a Will and sign the Will electronically. 13.01.2022 St Raphael’s Catholic School Scholarship The trustees of the St Raphael’s Catholic School Scholarship are pleased to announce Chloe Wilson as the inaugural winn...er of the scholarship for the 2020 and 2021 school years. The scholarship was inaugurated by an anonymous donor and will be awarded annually. It is available to current and prospective students of St Raphael’s Catholic School for study at St Raphael’s in years 11 and 12. The trustees consider the applicants leadership qualities, contribution to their school and to the community and their moral character. Applicants must demonstrate their efforts to use their talents to the full, whether or not this results in high levels of academic achievement. In particular, the trustees would like to encourage students that may not otherwise have the financial resources available to them to continue their studies at St Raphael’s in years 11 and 12 to apply for this scholarship. Grant Chamberlain, one of the trustees, said: The trustees are very excited to have attracted such a strong candidate for the award of the inaugural scholarship. We congratulate Chloe for putting in such a great application. She was an ideal applicant for an award of this nature and exactly the kind of candidate that the founder of the scholarship was looking for. Michael Gallagher, the Principal of St Raphael’s School and a trustee said St Raphael’s places a high value on good learning and good character. To have an award of this nature available to support deserving students like Chloe to continue their schooling at St Raphael’s in years 11 and 12 is tremendous. 12.01.2022 Great to see the NSW Government waiving Local Land Service rates again this year! But don’t become complacent when buying a rural property as unpaid LLS rates may still be attached to the property. We always conduct a Local Land Service Search to ensure that any unpaid LLS rates prior to the 31 December 2018 are paid on settlement by the Vendor.
