23.01.2022 Our friends at Writers SA have announced the next term of their popular Teen Writers Club! Jason previously ran this for them over the last couple of years, this term's presenter is Katerina Bryant. It's a great vibrant group with a lot of energy and creative buzz. Katerina Bryant is a writer based in South Australia. Her work has appeared in Griffith Review, The Guardian, Island Magazine and Kill Your Darlings, amongst others. Her first book, Hysteria: A Memoir of Illness, S...trength and Women’s Stories Throughout History, will be published by NewSouth in September 2020. Katerina has worked with young writers through her previous role as nonfiction editor at Voiceworks and more recently, as an associate producer for Express Media’s Making Tracks: Adelaide. 17.01.2022 Hi everyone! Just a quick note to advise that we are appraising the current COVID-19 situation. As always, the health and wellbeing of our participants is our number 1 priority. Tomorrow we will be in contact with our venues and we will advise participants via email if we need to pivot back towards online delivery of our Workshops and our Dungeons and Dragons sessions. Today we're going to trial a new dyslexia-friendly character sheet for one of our players - it looks a lot easier to find stuff, has colours to help distinguish between words, and uses the much-maligned Comic Sans font for ease of reading.
