22.01.2022 A townhouse courtyard has been transformed into a productive food growing farm this morning. I talked with the client to design and plan seasonal produce that they will consume. With three planter boxes (originally four, but they converted two planter boxes into one large planter box), good soil, and a whole lot of love, this couple can now turn their brown thumbs into green thumbs.

06.01.2022 If your mower, small animals, or children are getting lost in the grass in your yards, you might have what the experts refer to as 'long grass'. If you're based in Redland City and/or South-East Brisbane, and your yards are experiencing symptoms of 'long grass' then contact Mike to restore your yard/s to prime health today. Simply message this page and I'll be in touch with you shortly!

04.01.2022 It's potting mix time! Two ingredients are all that is required to make an effective seed raising, and cutting propogation mix. Simply mix coarse sand and rehydrated coir-peat together in a 50/50 mix.... Coir peat is excellent for water retention, and is also disease-free. Sand is excellent for providing just the right amount of drainage. This blend is also very cheap to make. Where a decent seed raising mix from Bunnings will cost you about $15 for 25l, this will make 40 or so litres for about $11... Much better value for money AND a lot more fun. Note, I am using two of the coir-peat bricks. The other one is currently soaking.

02.01.2022 Lost in an urban jungle (no, not the urban jungle full of philodendrons and other indoor greenery you'd normally see at your trendy local cafe)? This residence certainly was. One of the prominent weed growths was pennisetum setaceum - African fountain grass. This is a declared weed in Brisbane, due to it's ridiculous rate of growth (which the client mentioned as being really really annoying) and the rate at which it can smother and out-compete native flora. It only took a few hours worth of hard work to bring the gardens back under control. If your house is like this (or worse) then please get in touch with me today, so we can work out a garden redemption plan.
