25.01.2022 To all our existing and potential clients. Just a reminder that we can video conference your consultation. We ask that any person with an upcoming appointment who is self-isolating due to symptoms, contact with sufferers, or with any concerns, give us a call or send an email and we can organise to set up your appointment over the internet. You will require a reasonable internet connection and a webcam at your end. Deb and John

19.01.2022 A therapist is most therapeutic, not when they plan out and administer universal interventions, but when they respond to what emerges in the moment in a contextual and well-timed manner.

07.01.2022 In light of the latest national and Victorian guidance, we are postponing all currently scheduled training, except that which is already booked to be conducted online. All clients will also be moved to phone or video consultation starting tomorrow. This is a different way of talking through issues and we understand that for some it feels a bit daunting, but we encourage you to give it a go. You will be contacted by email, phone or text as your appointment comes due for u...s to make arrangements with you. We have a range of different video options that can be used on computers, phones and tablets. Please call to discuss your options if you are concerned in any way. John and Deb

05.01.2022 There are 2 primary reasons people think about divorce after infidelity. 1- Shame- they promised themselves they wouldn't put up with a cheating spouse and they... feel bad about themselves if they change their minds. 2- They're lost. Few people know how to heal from infidelity. It's a daunting task. But it can be done. You just have to learn how. There's hope. Infidelity is not a marital deal-breaker. See more

05.01.2022 To all our valued customers We would like to update you on our services during this challenging time and to advise you of the strategies being implemented in our office to minimise risk to our clients and ourselves as we continue to provide you with support. Our service has become even more critical as people are anxious about their health, their employment and the future. At this time, we continue to provide one to one services both privately and through workplace EAP progr...ams. There are however some changes. We are setting up video conferencing software that will be simple to use and accessible to people on either computers (with webcam) or devices such as phones or iPads. Any person who has health symptoms of any kind or has particular vulnerabilities such as advanced age or other existing health conditions is asked to contact us to arrange their consultation via video conferencing. This service is also available to any individual who is self-isolating either as a requirement or preference. We are ensuring our face to face appointments are timed so that there is no possibility of people encountering each other in our waiting areas and so that we can conduct thorough cleaning of all surfaces between clients. We may, in addition to these precautions, advise the use of gloves and/or face masks if matters escalate, risk deems it prudent, or other guidelines make these recommendations. Group services can also be offered through video conferencing so organisations that have group education sessions currently booked can contact our office for more information about these arrangements. If you have any concerns about any of these matters, please contact us via email or phone. Regards John and Debbie Garratt
