25.01.2022 We went away in September on holiday. One the way around, we visited the Whitsunday Crocodile Safari. (Highly recommended BTW). The tour guide was all over crocodile facts and stories. Very interesting. (Did you know: a crocodile can stay under water for up to two hours? Me neither!)

21.01.2022 We were up at Rainbow beach recently. There was King tide, (a very high, high tide), there not long before. It caused a fair bit of erosion!

20.01.2022 Photoshop has always been a mysterious dark art to me. Far beyond my ability to penetrate and make use of. However, casually surfing Youtube recently, I discovered a free course. I am still going through it - primarily because as I go, I am practicing. None the less, I found this an accessible and user friendly tutorial. Let me know how you go if any of you use it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyR_uYsRdPs

17.01.2022 While we were up at Rainbow Beach, I tried out my new Tokina lens again. And, again, it blew me away with how sensitive it is! Can't wait for Milky Way season this year.

16.01.2022 We get a lot of birds around and about. Here are some photos I have taken in the last few weeks.

10.01.2022 A while back, after restrictions had lifted, Tracey and I went around some of the gardens here in Toowoomba. (Toowoomba has lots of public gardens and is known as the Garden City). One of the gardens had some bees buzzing around. I took dozens of photos. It turns out bees are really tricky subjects! Here are the best three photos I managed to take.

07.01.2022 As you know, I love a good sunset. I managed to catch a pretty good one shortly before Christmas. Hope you enjoy these.

02.01.2022 I have been a very good boy this year. So, as you can imagine, I was delighted when Santa gave me a Tokina 14-20mm 2.0 lens for Christmas! Here are the first night photos I took. Granted, the sky was pretty ordinary that night. However, I am blown away at the clarity compared to the lens I have used in the past.
