23.01.2022 21 years ago Laif Etournaud & I had an idea about how dining should be... well executed,simple, accessible, affordable and relaxed. Through many changes in politics, social attitudes, and pricing over the year (an entrée started at $7 and a main $14) the Duck Confit, T-bone with red wine butter, Duck liver pate and chocolate terrine have been consistently served every night at the tables of Onde .. And now its time to go. We have had an amazing 21 years. Being part of the S...ydney food & Darlinghurst community has been an honour. I am still genuinely surprised and humbled when people tell me they know of Onde and tell me their Onde Story. Its amazing to have been part of so many peoples journey over the last 2 decades, to watch and be part of celebrations, birthday and everyday life. We are incredibly grateful to all of those customers who have dined with us over the years for their support! What comes next?
