22.01.2022 There's a bit of rain and thunder happening this morning. At this point we are still going ahead - we will only cancel if the rain becomes heavy and if there's lightning. It will likely be a very last minute decision it's if cancelled, but at this point (8:10am) we are still going ahead.
22.01.2022 With the safety and wellbeing of our families and athletes in mind, we are modifying our home meet for this Sunday. We will start at 9am (8:45am warm up) and will only run 4 events to ensure we are finished and packed up by 10:30am. Please remember to pack a water bottle and a hat (we will have sunscreen available).
21.01.2022 The most recent update from SALAA is indicating that (restrictions permitting) State Relay Championships will still be going ahead on Dec 13! If you haven't yet nominated, please reply ASAP. Teams must be submitted tomorrow (Nov 25)
21.01.2022 Our Association has been invited to participate at the South Australian Athletic League’s 2020 Bay Sheffield once again! Similar to last year’s event, the Under 12 and above male and female LASA athletes will be offered the opportunity to participate in this event. Please see below for some further event information to share with your members: DAY 1 PROGRAM OF EVENTS SUNDAY 27 DECEMBER 2020... Heats commencing approximately 9am 120m Boys Little Aths Maximum 24 120m Girls Little Aths Maximum 24 400m Boys Little Aths Maximum 24 400m Girls Little Aths Maximum 24 Finals will be mid afternoon Straight Final and presentation of 800m Girls/Boys Straight Final - Girl and Boys Maximum 16 The races will be all be handicapped. In handicap running, competitors start at different positions on the track dependent upon their ability. The handicaps are designed to even up the competition, so that the running is more fascinating and unpredictable, and gives everyone a chance. Please let me know ASAP (but no later than Thursday Dec 3rd) if you'd like to nominate your child :)

18.01.2022 An email has been sent out, however just to make sure all bases are covered, Tiny Tots will start at their regular time tomorrow. Jess is looking to do some water relays with them (what perfect weather!) so please consider bringing a towel. We will also have vanilla Giant Twins for sale at the canteen, so don't forget to stop past and see us!

08.01.2022 REMINDER: Patches MUST be put onto our uniform (see picture). You can sew them on, use velcro, double sided sewing tape.. anything that will stick them on and ensure they are visible. Please make sure this is done ASAP
