19.01.2022 Support Bike Clarification _ We have had a few enquiries of late regarding the use of support bikes in the event and thought it best that we clarify our stance (and ruling) here. We have updated our Participant Guide to reflect this also. ... _____ Support bikes are strictly not permitted in the event. Support bikes are classified as someone who rides continually with a runner along the pathway (course), providing pacing assistance or coaching. Spectators can utilise bikes to visit different areas of the course, but we ask that where possible you utilise the adjacent road to ride (following road rules). This year we are permitting aid to be provided to runners throughout the course - When providing aid to a runner, if you have travelled by bike, you must be off your bike, with the handover of aid conducted on foot. (You cannot ride alongside runners and hand them drinks/nutrition). __ Sector Leaders will be policing this throughout the course, with penalties such as time penalty and disqualification for anyone not adhering to this rule (penalties are at the Race Directors discretion). We thank you for your cooperation with this, in helping to reduce any congestion or overcrowding of public pathways. TIA - Team GC50

07.01.2022 BSafe Mobile Lockers will be on hand at the fisiocrem GC50 Run Festival next weekend to keep your belongings safe. _ If you've purchased a locker during registration for the event, simply provide your name to the locker attendant - who'll provide you with your locker access.... _ If you're looking for a locker to use, you can hire them on the day for $10. Hours of Operation are below: Saturday - 3:30pm - 6:30pm Sunday - 4:00am - 1:00pm
