12.01.2022 The joey scouts from Burleigh Heads and Mudgeeraba enjoying the region Hop Hop Splash event at Brownsea Water Activities centre. A huge thank you to the Brownsea leaders Quokka, Kea and Russ for making the day fun filled and action packed. The joeys got a taste of canoeing, sailing the pirate ship and even walked the plank and had to swim 10 metres back to shore, the built and paddled a raft, learnt some new songs, how our lives can impact the ecosystems in the waterways, how to take care of all the gear, some new knots and lashings and so much more. I would love to say how proud their leaders and I were with their behaviour and give all to try something new attitudes they demonstrated. Keegan
