23.01.2022 Preseason Training 2018/2019 Hi all, I hope everyone has enjoyed the well-earned break following the conclusion of what was an enjoyable and successful 2018 season.... The club is pleased to confirm the re-appointment of Matt Freeman to our Head Coach role for season 2019. We look forward to building on last year and with Matt at the helm it is exciting times ahead for the club. To give ourselves the best opportunity for season 2019, the club has also secured the services of Stacey Ciriello to drive our preseason sessions. Stacey is a professional fitness instructor with an in-depth understanding of hockey fitness, nutrition and physical well-being. These sessions will be open to all our divisions Men’s, Women’s, Veterans and Juniors. Programs will be designed and catered to all fitness levels so everyone is encouraged to attend the more the merrier!! The sessions will be held at the club on Wednesdays at 7.30pm. Sessions Dates: 2018 Dates 5th, 12th and 19th December 2018 2019 Dates 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th January and 6th February 2019 Normal training will resume, on Tuesday 12th and Thursday 14th of February 2019 with Matt Freeman The first session will start earlier on 5th December at 7pm to meet and greet Matt Freeman followed by Stacey Ciriello at 7.15pm. 05.01.2022 The VLHS ELO rankings have been updated for 2020. The biggest movers in 2019 were the Greater Dandenong Warriors Hockey Club who flew up the rankings by 8 plac...es, collecting 224 ELO points along the way in their championship winning season. VL3 new boys Craigieburn Falcons Hockey Club jogged through their campaign, jumping 5 places to 36th while amassing 218 ELO points. Knox Hockey Club rose 5 places to 25th while Hockey Geelong climbed 4 spots to 17th, only 2 places behind their all-time high of 15th which was back in round 1 2016. Casey had a season to forget (-388pts, -10places) but will regroup in VL3 and hopefully get their confidence back after a couple of rough years. Old Melburnians (-182,-5places) have dropped out of the Vic League structure in 2020 and will follow the footsteps of Old Carey and play metro. See more
