24.01.2022 I recently bought a newer car and it gave me an idea to throw at the Gallardo Plug and Play kit. Why not throw in a gauge sweep at key on as a little easter egg, much like my newer car.. 20.01.2022 Great way to kick of the 2020 financial year with a little MoTeC order.. This M130 is a Development Licence ECU for Chris at Hunter Consulting.. A Development Licence ECU is one that allows the user to create firmware code to suit their specific application, if you need a feature from an ECU but it isn't natively supported in the technical documents, what you can do, is make it yourself.. This is most typically used when trying to create a Plug in ECU that talks with other p...arts of a factory car data bus.. By making something that mimics a factory ECU.. But it also is handy when you want to simply control an aspect of an engine or car in a manner better suited to your needs.. Or, maybe, for regulations sake, you need to remove certain aspects... 20.01.2022 Working hard to get the Gallardo Motec PNP kit onto a PCB to make the production process better and far easier.. It was necessary and fun to prototype the original test pieces, as there was much learned and revised as the job went on.. Dealt with a few little quirks on things like relay outputs etc.. 19.01.2022 Some 17 odd years ago I was 1 full year into my trade qualification of "Automotive Mechanical Light Vehicle".. I was living in Kadina and driving to Adelaide 4 times a year and staying with anyone I knew to be able to complete my apprenticeship at Croydon Tafe... In walked a part time Lecturer wearing a FOX Moto T shirt and talking about Motocross...... My ears perked up... I like this guy, he speaks my language, and even better he owns a race car... (HQ Holden) Long long long long long story short.. 17 years later and today I hired his dyno to tune a car of one of my customers.. It's in mine and Matt's blood.. we can't seem to shake it.. Hard times or good.. We won't settle for an average job... We always want to do our best work... You only taught me one way Matt and that is "The right way.."
