25.01.2022 New Year, New You??? It always feels right to wipe the slate clean at the end of the year. To start the new year with positive thoughts and motivation. To set a couple of BHAGs (big, hairy, audacious goals) and do everything in your power to achieve them. Unfortunately for most of us, the motivation can wane quite quickly and doing the work is sometimes too hard, too much, too lonely, too whatever!... Don't give up just yet - research shows that being held accountable makes us....well, more accountable. We are more likely to show up if we are meeting someone who will encourage, support and motivate you to keep going. So if you are needing a little accountability in your life, wanting to get a little fitter, improve your running or just want to meet like-minded people, join the Geckos for a Wednesday speed session. Sunset Oval 6.00pm every Wednesday. See you there.

25.01.2022 I love planning and experiencing adventures, but COVID has curtailed that to some extent. Now that winter is almost over in the Isa (did it really start?), I'm feeling confident to start planning ahead. 2 months of running adventures starting tomorrow - will you run with us?

21.01.2022 Team Gecko are cheering on the ISA 50km runners this Saturday. Starting at Sybella Creek we shall run the trail towards Mica Creek, cheer them on, refuel them and send them on their way! Who's in?

21.01.2022 And they are off! 4am start for the COV-ISA 50km runners. Have just checked in with them 10km along the road. They have now headed bush to Mica Creek.
