03.01.2022 Welcome to our new venue. Ready just in time for our first event today. Videos and results posted soon.

03.01.2022 As the day started, so it ends after a successful competition where though small in number, the quality of lifting and help given by our guests highlighted to me what a great community we have in Weightlifting. As more videos come to me, I will send them through, in the meantime, I wanted to thank all our visiting lifters who made our event. Deena Henaway from CrossFit Henley, Kate Legge-Wilkinson from Northern Weightlifting, and Denese Billings from LG Weightlifting, and in... the mens, Jackson Baker from Bendigo Weightlifting Club, Samuel Storer from Growl Weightlifting, and Jake Le Cerf from In2Performance Weightlifting.... thank you. Everyone who helped today, Ange Kenos who refereed yet again, thanks so much. Lou Webb, Toni Lane and Ben Silva, thank you for jumping in for many tasks, it got us out of a jam so thank you. From In2Performance, Emily Shaw and Abhi with refereeing and loading, we couldnt have done it without you, thanks so much. Beau Hiram for loading, drove Joe down just to compete then jumped in to help when asked. Thanks so much. Finally, my group, Aaron Phillips, thanks for coming in and helping with set up, weigh in and reffing the first session, you were invaluable. Lani Schwaiger for doing the girls weigh in, thanks so much. And Alex Mifsud and Keiran Pringle for refereeing the first session before you lifted, thank you. Finally, Josh Quinn and Sam Storer, thanks for all your posting on social media promoting our event, thanks for the support and exposure. And Josh Quinn, Samuel Steele and Toni Lane, thanks for bringing your groups down, it made it a bigger day with better atmosphere. It takes a lot of help to run a comp, and I couldnt have done it without you all. Whoever I left out, I apologise, but thank you also. See more

01.01.2022 And here are the guys results. Best Male lifter was Joe Hiram, who survived a scare of missing his first two, with a 235 total and Sinclair of 291. Missed his third attempt at 119 attempting to qualify for the Australian Champs. And in third place was Samuel Storer, who narrowly missed 137 and 140 which would have won. Jake Le Cerf in his fir...st comp exhibited tremendous potential with 5 successful attempts, power snatching 100kg, and power cleaning 131 before a narrow miss of the jerk. Keiran also has five successes and pb snatch, c+j and total to have a great day. And Alex Mifsud after a pb snatch, narrowly missed a 3kg pb at 91kg clean + jerk, which would have qualified him for junior nationals. A great days lifting @victorian_weightlifting See more
