25.01.2022 Its tough right now! The recent Victorian announcements have been devastating. Body Piercing falls under the category of Beauty & Personal Care, we are not permitted to open until the Last Step of the reopening Victoria roadmap. We are doing the best we can to continue our business so we can see you all on the other side, but we cant do this alone! We need your help! 25.01.2022 Lets say you woke up with a terrible cough, a fever, and severe body aches. Immediately, you rush to the doctor and unfortunately, youre diagnosed with COVID-19. For the last two weeks, youve been unaware that you were infected and youve ignored "the rules." Youve gotten together with some close friends for pizza, had a few too many people over for a party (whos going to know), even hugged and kissed your relatives. You figured, I dont feel sick. I have the right to k...eep living my normal life. No one can tell me what to do." With your diagnosis, you spend the next few days at home on the couch, feeling pretty crappy; but then youre well again because youre young, healthy and strong. Lucky you. But your best friend caught it from you during a visit to your house, and because she didnt know she was contagious, she visited her 82-year-old grandfather, who uses oxygen tanks daily to help him breathe because he has COPD and heart failure. Now, hes dead. Your co-worker, who has asthma, caught it too, during your little pizza get-together. Now, hes in the ICU, and hes spread it to a few others in his family, too--but they wont know that for another couple of weeks yet. The cashier at the restaurant where you picked up the pizza carried the infection home to his wife, who has MS, which makes her immunosuppressed. Shes not as lucky as you, so shes admitted to the hospital because shes having trouble breathing. She may need to be placed in a medically-induced coma and intubated; she may not get to say goodbye to her loved ones. She may die surrounded by machines, with no family at her bedside. All because you couldnt stand the inconvenience of a following a few rules; of staying home; of changing your familiar routines for just a little while. 15.01.2022 Okay people, please read! Just got some important info for you all Yes, we are now open in Geelong ...But there are rules in place Face masks are mandatory! We cannot perform any piercings on areas that a face mask covers: nose, cheeks, mouth.... We will be checking temperatures with a no touch thermometer. Anyone entering the piercing room needs their temperature taken prior; this includes for piercings, changeovers & checkups Strictly only the person getting the procedure is allowed in the room; unless theyre under the age of 16, then a person who lives at the same address can be present but also requires a temperature check. EVERYONE that enters our store must sign in! This is so we have a record of everyone thats been through our doors just in case a positive Coronavirus case gets confirmed! Bookings are ESSENTIAL! In order for us to maintain a COVIDSafe environment for you to get pierced we need a little extra time. Our cleaning procedures take us longer between clients so please book in advance!
