20.01.2022 Summer Living Inspiration. While we were in Macedon catching up with a supplier we took a drive around this beautiful little town. It was amazing to see so many beautiful custom homes in this rural setting. This one stood out to us for no other reason than the perfection in its construction. The use of raw timber, the recycled red bricks, the lines and pitches in that colourbond roof. It was almost like the backdrop blended into the home with the simple landscaping complimen...ting all aspects of its raw nature. 08.01.2022 The Personal Touches. This week we have seen some warmer weather, restrictions have been eased and we can have a few people around to our homes. One of our clients wants to utilise the space in their new home to its optimum, and what better way than to house his wine collection! He provided us with a sketch and an idea of what he would like to achieve without the need for another room to be added. 01.01.2022 Relaxation. For some of our clients, a parents retreat or personal space is paramount when designing their new custom home. Studies, gym rooms, yoga retreats, sauna's, are all "wish" items that clients would like to incorporate into their designs and budgets. At times, we recommend to our clients to look at reducing the size of their new homes and spending a bit more money on the things that really matter.
