22.01.2022 Let’s talk goals! As a business I find sometimes it’s hard to keep focus. We’re always wanting to do more and more but it’s important to understand what your why’s are, WHY are you doing this? (In my case) WHY would I sacrifice sleep or late evenings writing emails or doing work when I could be relaxing? It’s simple, I love the work. I love the couples who I get to meet along the way, I love the snaps we exchange on their pups or cats, the new people I meet and get to lear...n from the industry. There’s so many! My goal? That’s simple too- I want to be able to take this business full time in the long run. But I guess for now or really, this year..I want to be doing more creative stuff, really challenge myself. Do cool signages. Do more styled shoots and/or designing for bigger/corporate events. It may take me a while to get to where I want to be, and that’s totally fine! 20.01.2022 What a whirlwind this year has been. 2020 had obviously presented its challenges to many small business owners including myself. Imagine not having anything to do or post for almost 9 months, and to have the constant question of what else could I do to keep afloat? What else can I do to stay creative? That, was super difficult! BUT as always, things will prevail. If this year had taught me anything, it’s to be grateful for what I have and to trust myself... and my instincts. In the last two months since being reopened, I saw myself booking almost 3-4 weddings all for early next year. I saw old ones being rebooted..and I still got to be in a styled shoot. So, I can’t say it hasn’t been great, it’s been pretty darn amazing! Feeling so so thankful that I have people that trust me and my work. But if I really have to count business milestones this year, my top 3 moments would have to be: 1) being able to rebrand myself- I can’t wait to show you all the work I put in behind the scenes! Thank you to my fellow designer friends I confided in and gave advice. 2) speaking of friends- the friendships I made throughout this pandemic supporting one another #collaborationnotcompetition 3) the incredible styled shoot I pulled off right after lockdown with one of my biggest signages ever I’ve made! @_bowcreative for allowing me to star in it! I honestly can’t wait for 2021 to see what else comes my way, including my new studio space coming. but personally, I’d hope to make more friends, be involved in more creative choices and events and to just kick ass in the industry I’m so passionate about. I’d also love to be able to update 2-3 of my machines and really invest in new toys that’ll make my job easier. I just don’t know what they’d be yet. 18.01.2022 One of our favourite weddings in 2019. It was such an honour to see these two tie the knot. Among the items we provided for them: personalised menus, a bar menu, seating chart, and a wishing well box with gold foil decals along with their stunning white decal on gold acrylic mirror welcome sign. 16.01.2022 We're gearing up (very slowly) for our new look which should be ready by early next year. Includes a new website, a cool new logo and yes, some pretty wax seals!
