22.01.2022 Dear friends of Very Snuggly Quilts, Unfortunately due to the current coronavirus situation Very Snuggly Quilts will not be able to meet at our regular quilt ma...king days for some time. As you are probably aware by now Victorian Quilters Inc. are not having a quilt Exhibition at the Craft & Quilt Fair to be held in early October. As much as we miss the socialisation that quilt making days bring, the health & wellbeing of Victorian Quilters Inc. members and their friends are our prime concern. I know that many of you are continuing to stitch at home & are working through your stash. I have attached a couple of photos showing some of the results of my time at home. If you need extra supplies or would like a kit to work on please contact me. Please take care, continue to stay home & keep well. Kind regards Marie Lee President

22.01.2022 Reminder to all that we are meeting next Saturday 20 March but due to COVID restrictions there will be no morning or afternoon supplied so please bring your own mug, coffee, tea, sugar and biscuits. Hot water is available. There will be milk in the kitchen with hand sanitizer beside it. Paper towel will be supplied to wipe your crockery/cutlery after you have washed it.

19.01.2022 I have been clearing out my fabric & Gift Quilts fabric & blocks. I have found lots of cute small bits of fabric & nice odd blocks. With a little bit of imagina...tion & some fiddling , I have created these bassinet quilts. If you have cute fabric or odd blocks , we would love some more bassinet quilts. These quilts are donated to sick & stillborn babies at Monash Children’s Hospital & Waverley Private Hospital. They are 28x18 with cotton batting. They are made specially for the Perspex hospital bassinets. See more

10.01.2022 American Quilters Society has officially announced that ALL of their shows for 2021 have been cancelled. I have loved teaching for them and will miss seein...g my AQS friends and my students! AQS has done so much for quilting for so many years. It's been an honor to have my quilts hang in their shows and to teach at many AQS shows. 09.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT: AQC 2020 is cancelled from its rescheduled date from April to August and will now be back as usual in 2021. No surprises here as there is NO Inter...national Travel and many Tutors are from all around the world. The largest Quilting Convention in the Southern Hemisphere will now be bigger and better with a sensible delay till when, hopefully, the whole world can return to some normality and health safety.
