They provide access to information and run seminars that can be accessed across Victoria.Even the office is closed at the moment for face to face consults, they do have a phone service operating. 07.01.2022 Thanks to our generous sponsors, donors and supporters, Geelong Region Cancerians is proud to donate funds to Australian Cancer Research Foundation that enabled their 2020 grants such as the new $1.8 million cancer research program at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre , targeting over 12 cancers. This is one of three vital cancer research programs across VIC, NSW and QLD to receive $6 million in grants this year. This funding will help scientists advance their understanding... of how external targeting of a tumour can trigger anti-cancer effects, and ultimately support development of powerful new treatment regimens. What better way to kick of Grand Final Week than spending the Sunday afternoon at the Piano Bar Marquee at the Geelong Racing Club. Join our expert panel, Dwayne Russell (Fox Footy, Geelong and Port Adelaide legend) and Tom King (editor, K-Rock Footy) for some insightful footy talk and inside goss leading up to the Brownlow and Grand FInal Day. Geelong Region Cancerians has been established in 2018 by uterine cancer survivor, Phillipa Challis OAM, to operate as the Geelong Region Cancerians supporting the Australian Cancer Research Foundation.
