25.01.2022 According to the most up to date evidence, acupuncture is an effective treatment for anxiety. - a 2016 systematic review with over 400 randomised patients that... concluded that ‘the effects from acupuncture for treating anxiety have been shown to be significant as compared to conventional treatments.’ The largest of these studies, which included 120 randomized patients, found that acupuncture had a large effect on reducing anxiety and depression compared to conventional treatment involving pharmalogical approaches and psychotherapy, with over twice the reduction in symptoms. - a more recent systematic review published in 2018 found that all 13 included studies reported an anxiety decrease for their treatment group relative to the control groups. Three of these studies used pharmaceuticals as controls. #EvidenceBasedAcupuncture https://www.evidencebasedacupuncture.org//acupuncture-anx/

13.01.2022 I hope you're all keeping well, and doing your best to maintain a positive mental attitude in these trying times. The clinic is allowed to be open because I am a fully registered health practitioner. I'm sharing an article about the difficulties I've had in trying to conduct acupuncture research in Australia. Although I've yet to succeed, I'm not giving up! The full journal can be found at:... https://issuu.com//issuu_jing_luo_edition_3_autumn_wint/30 My article is on page 30. Wishing you all health and happiness! Keep smiling! See more

12.01.2022 Just as regular exercise improves fitness, regular acupuncture treatments can help to improve a general feeling of health and wellbeing. Acupuncture + your fitness routine = better health, more balance and less stress in life.

10.01.2022 YES, AACMA REGISTERED PRACTICES CAN REMAIN OPEN We are aware that many members are confused with the messages from the Federal and State Governments. Here are t...he facts to help you navigate around this confusing and unprecedented times. Current Facts as of 23/3/20: Chinese medicine is a registered profession and is regarded as an allied health profession by the Federal Government. Allied health is regarded as a primary health care service and thus serving as an ESSENTIAL NEED. Essential means absolutely necessary. So if patients have a bad back or even a cough it is ESSENTIAL to THEM to get treatment. Our industry falls under both PRIMARY and ESSENTIAL. Primary is a ranking. Whatever is deemed as FIRST or MORE IMPORTANT falls under primary. The World Health Organisation regards traditional medicine practices as primary care and the Australian Government regards us as allied health and therefore primary care. So, yes you can choose to stay open. https://www1.health.gov.au//NPHC-Strategic-Framework~phc-a *All information is current as of 23/03/2020. AACMA will update and inform all members and clients if and when the situations change.

07.01.2022 The research shines a light on the hitherto unrecognised contributions of Chinese anatomists, and repositions them at the centre of the field. This new information challenges the perceived esoteric nature of acupuncture, and roots it instead in anatomical science.

06.01.2022 Smile! It's good for you.....
